The Latest Innovations in Care |
|
| From
cutting-edge techniques to the simplest procedures, our physicians and
midwives are dedicated to providing the best in gynecologic and obstetric
care. We offer minimally invasive alternatives to major surgeries.
What once used to require lengthy hospital stays can now be performed
comfortably and conveniently on an outpatient basis, allowing you to return
to your normal routine within days. Your provider will explain to you
all your options and what you can expect from each, helping you make an
informed decision. Some of the procedures we offer include: |
 |
Laparoscopy:
for a close examination of the pelvic area and fallopian
tubes to treat causes of pelvic pain including endometriosis,
adhesions, abnormal bleeding, tubal pregnancies, and in performing tubal
ligations.
Hysteroscopy: for analyzing the uterine lining for possible
abnormal growths that may be causing pain and abnormal bleeding.
Colposcopy: for
detection of pre-cancer of the cervix to be followed by a laser or LEEP
procedure, if necessary.
Nuchal Translucency Screening:
a high resolution, in-office ultrasound procedure to determine a fetus' risk of
Down's Syndrome.
Sonohysterography: an
in-office procedure to more clearly define intrauterine abnormalities that can
lead to problems with abnormal bleeding.
