He has been a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 1993.  He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and continued his internship and residency training in OB/GYN at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.  He has published several articles in medical journals, and is a frequent lecturer on women's health topics.

Dr. Aamodt's experience and interests include general gynecology, infertility evaluation and treatment, laser and laparoscopic surgery, urogynecology, menopausal medicine and family-oriented maternity.  He has extensive experience in managing high-risk and complicated pregnancies. His medical philosophy is simple-- he values individualized, consultative attention for each patient in a comfortable, professional manner.
